This in-person position offers a $1,000 signing bonus paid with the first paycheck, contingent on staying employed for one year.
Job Purpose: Provide alcohol and drug education, intervention, assessment, referral, and counseling services within a residential treatment center setting.
Responsibilities: - Maintain a full caseload and facilitate group and individual counseling sessions.
- Conduct educational and curriculum-based treatment programs.
- Collect, document, and report client data timely and accurately.
- Collaborate with community partners and probation/parole officers to ensure client care and compliance.
- Supervise LCDC Counselor Interns and ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Attend required training and staff meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Licensed as LPC, LPC-A, LCSW, LCDC, or CI in Texas.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of substance abuse effects, community resources, and counseling techniques.
- Strong communication, case management, and computer skills.
- Reliable transportation; bilingual skills preferred.
Compensation & Benefits: - $45,000-$51,500 annually
