This in-person position offers a $1,000 signing bonus paid with the first paycheck, contingent on staying employed for one year.

Job Purpose:
Provide alcohol and drug education, intervention, assessment, referral, and counseling services within a residential treatment center setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a full caseload and facilitate group and individual counseling sessions.
  • Conduct educational and curriculum-based treatment programs.
  • Collect, document, and report client data timely and accurately.
  • Collaborate with community partners and probation/parole officers to ensure client care and compliance.
  • Supervise LCDC Counselor Interns and ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Attend required training and staff meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed as LPC, LPC-A, LCSW, LCDC, or CI in Texas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of substance abuse effects, community resources, and counseling techniques.
  • Strong communication, case management, and computer skills.
  • Reliable transportation; bilingual skills preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $45,000-$51,500 annually
