RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess each call to determine the best course of action, adhering to progressive Paramedic protocols in a high-volume 911 system.
  • Utilize your Paramedic skills fully within the advanced scope of practice as defined by Oregon state regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information about the care being delivered.
  • Serve as the team leader when necessary, managing the scene and unit operations with confidence.
  • Collaborate professionally with all health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid Oregon State Paramedic License.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS or ITLS certifications.
  • Driving record compliant with company policy.
  • Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.
  • Some prior work experience in healthcare is preferred.
