Immediate opening for a Class C Delivery Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Lockport, IL. Driver Positions Pay Weekly with an average weekly pay of $1075-$1200. Hours per week are 48 hours per week. Paid training is provided. Schedule is Monday Friday with a start time of 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM Dispatch. Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful. Freight includes touch auto parts trucks that are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance and company drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

Requirements include: minimum 21 years of age, minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience, pass a Ryder drug test, pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years, pass a DOT physical, pass a Ryder road test, must have a valid driver's license, and ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.
Responsibilities include safely driving a vehicle within and compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards, maintaining accurate records loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer, and other tasks as assigned.
