Requirements Minimum age 21 years Minimum 6 months of verifiable driving experience Pass a Ryder drug test Must have verifiable driving experience for straight truck/box truck: 6 months in past 3 years, OR 2 years in past 5 years, OR 5 years in past 10 years Pass Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years) Pass DOT physical Pass Ryder road test Valid driver’s license Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records check, road test, and/or badge or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
