Call Center - Member Contact Center Rep 2 - Full Time - Remote (AK, AZ, NV, TX, WA, WY) Pay: $21.34/hr - $32.01/hr (base) Sign‑on bonus available for eligible external applicants. The primary role of the Member Contact Center Rep II is to provide exemplary service to Credit Union via all manners and methods of contact, including but not limited to phones, e‑mail, web channels, mail, and facsimile. Under minimal supervision, the MCC Rep II performs a wide variety of duties related to member service such as processing deposits and withdrawals, reviewing account information and credit/card transactions, processing loan payments, providing basic online banking support, etc. This position supports all of the Credit Union depository and lending products and works to achieve cross‑sell goals established by the Credit Union. Responsibilities Consult with members. Identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on pending transactions. Hold conversations that matter with members via phone, web, e‑mail, mail, facsimile, or in person. Provide efficient and timely member service to the membership via all channels. Execute basic member service transactions with quality and accuracy. Recommend other products and services, including ancillary products. Open new member accounts (Savings, Checking, Money Market, Trust, Certificates, IRA) and complete related forms. Perform account maintenance such as changes of address, name, owners, beneficiaries, close accounts, process deceased accounts, and notary services. Identify and report suspicious behavior or suspected fraud activity. Complete all required training and compliance modules. Treat co‑workers and members with respect. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Represent the Credit Union positively and professionally. Maintain member and other sensitive information with confidentiality. Qualifications 2 years retail customer service experience, including at least 1 year in a financial institution with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding service and sales goals. Solid knowledge of deposit, loan, and ancillary products/services (Trust, IRA, certificates, loans, etc.). Working knowledge of applicable law, regulations, compliance practices and Credit Union procedures. Strong phone skills with professional verbal etiquette. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and remote signing; ability to work and operate a webcam. Excellent follow‑up and written communication skills (email grammar and spelling). Strong interpersonal skills and ability to listen, understand, and anticipate member needs. Team player with organizational skills. Genuine interest in helping members through conversations that matter with empathy and care. Willingness to make a difference. Personable and professional. Preferred Qualifications 3 years related experience with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding service and sales goals. Prior contact center experience. Homebanking and technical skills.
